Happy Healthy Holidays to you and your loved ones! Are you entertaining at home? Make any dish special by topping it with crunchy Almond Clusters or serve it as a snack on its own!

 

SPICY ALMOND BITS

 

  makes 2 cups

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups soaked almonds
  • 3 tbsp wheat free tamari
  • 2 tbsp agave nectar
  • ½ tsp ground cumin
  • ¼ tsp chili powder
  • ¼ tsp fine sea salt
  • Pinch cayenne pepper

In a food processor add the soaked almonds and pulse 8 to 10 times.  Add the tamari, agave, cumin, chili powder, salt and cayenne.  Pulse the mixture another 8 to 10 times.  Transfer to a dehydrator and dehydrate at 114° for 3 to 4 hours or until dry, allow mixture to cool and store at room temperature. Enjoy on top of most main dishes and salads or as a snack on its own!
